WHAT IS A SECRET SUPPER CLUB?
It is just what it seems to be, Supper Clubs have popped up all over the UK in the last 3 – 4 years. They are restaurants that are run on an occasional basis from someone's home or a venue they have access to.
Those of us who run them are always foodies with a passion and interest in high quality seasonal food that we want to serve to you.
Clarkies Supper Club is the only one in the Nottinghamshire Derbyshire area and we are very passionate about the food we serve. No fancy names, no out of season strawberries that taste of nothing and have been flown thousands of miles, just simple, seasonal, honest food, that we know where it has come from and how it has been produced.
Libby and daughter Sarah are the cooks, with Bob as the gopher; well we had to give him something to do!

After jiggling around the furniture we discovered can seat 16-18 people maximum in comfort in our home without squashing you all in too much. Take a look at our menu and if you like what you read book it quickly cos it will be first come first served for places.
Unlike most supper clubs we do not offer a set menu, Sarah and I decided that we ourselves like a choice , so why not offer the same to our guests.
Each course has three choices, we do not need to know in advance what you would like to eat, because if you are anything like us, you change your mind on the night!
So there are three choices for each course and we are always willing to provide for those who are vegetarian or who have food allergies, so long as we know in advance.
The evening is paid for by donation only, our requested donation is £25 per person, although a little extra tip is always welcome !
You bring along your own alcoholic drinks, we do usually have soft drinks available.
Bob is very good at opening the bottles for you, no corkage fees of course.
So just because you need good food, great company and an excuse to get out of the house,
